Cricket Australia announced on Thursday that Mitchell Marsh, who has tested positive for COVID-19, will lead the Australian team from afar in the first of three Twenty20 internationals against West Indies on Friday.
The versatile player will be granted permission to participate in the game at Hobart’s Bellerive Oval. However, he will be assigned a distinct changing room and required to maintain a distance from fellow teammates during his time on the field.
