After news broke that Jennifer Lopez was feeling “heartbroken” over her divorce from Ben Affleck, the American singer was spotted out with friends, sipping drinks and trying to lift her spirits amid the swirling drama and tension.
The 55-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a lively video of herself enjoying a game of pickleball and sipping drinks as she kicked off Labor Day weekend. She described the moment with the caption, “the ultimate holiday weekend combo.”
In the video, she is captured joyfully pouring drinks for her friends while promoting her business, Delola, all set against the backdrop of the stunning $68 million marital home that she and her estranged husband put on the market in early July.
Her long-awaited weekend getaway arrives just two weeks after she filed for divorce from Affleck, who has since brushed off speculation about a romance with Kick Kennedy, the daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
JLo showcases her sculpted physique.
Dismissing the swirling rumors, JLo took to her Instagram Story to share the same video, brightening it up with a cheerful sun sticker and a joyful message that read, “Hello long weekend.”
In the charming video, Lopez showcased her fit physique while donning a soft baby blue workout ensemble.
The vocalist sported a coordinated set of high-waisted sweatpants paired with a triangle top layered over a semi-sheer sports bra. For their relaxed outing, she chose to complete the look with crisp white sneakers.
JLo styled her hair in carefree pigtails, allowing her luscious brown waves to stay out of her way, while her makeup radiated with a vibrant glow, featuring generous touches of rosy blush that gave her a beautiful sun-kissed appearance. To complement her athletic outfit, she adorned herself with matching chain-link bracelets and golden hoop earrings, topped off with oversized sunglasses that boasted a warm brown tint.
Her announcement follows reports indicating that Lopez no longer feels at ease living in the Beverly Hills home she once shared with Affleck and their children.
On August 20, the date marking their second wedding in Georgia, she took the significant step of filing for divorce.
After nearly two years of searching, the couple finally found their dream home: a lavish mansion that cost $60 million. This stunning property, which boasts 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms, was purchased in May 2023.
