Sisters into custody at a zoo, facing charges of drug possession and child endangerment, according to police reports.

On Monday, September 2, the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department received reports of a guest allegedly being bitten by a camel at Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo, as confirmed by officials in a Facebook update.

As soon as they arrived, deputies were struck by the unusual smells emanating from the guest’s vehicle, according to the post.

Slaton, known for her role on TLC’s 1,000-Lb. Sisters since its debut in January 2020, along with Brian Scott Lovvorn, has been arrested and is now confronting serious charges. These include illegal possession of schedule I substances, illegal possession of schedule IV substances, and two counts of child endangerment, according to the report.

Lovvron, traveling alongside Slaton in the same vehicle, is confronting identical charges, and both individuals have been processed into the Crockett County Jail.

The authorities have not disclosed the identity of the person who was bitten, and they have also failed to share further information about any injuries associated with the reported camel bite.

The Sheriff’s Department emphasized in the statement that the claims and allegations mentioned are simply accusations of criminal behavior and do not constitute proof. They reiterated that the defendant is considered innocent until proven guilty through a fair legal process and beyond a reasonable doubt.

Slaton has faced a challenging period recently. In March 2023, news broke that her husband of four years, Michael Halterman, had initiated divorce proceedings. Together, they have two young sons, Gage Deon, aged 4, and Glenn Allen, aged 2.

In a heartfelt discussion about parenthood after the arrival of their son Glenn in a 2023 episode of the popular TLC reality show, Slaton expressed, “My heart is overflowing.” She continued, “Becoming a mother has been my dream since I was just five, and I’ve always envisioned having two children. Now, our family feels whole. We can finally capture this moment and display it proudly on our wall.”
